  • Well, it has been way too long since I have written anything!  Time sure flies when you are having fun!  So much has happened since I last wrote but I will just share some highlights.

Our 4th grandchild, Jude Owen Melton, was born Jan 20, 2009.  He is absolutely adorable and such a good baby!  Noah is learning to be a good big brother.   We are so thankful we are able to see them often.

  •  Well, it certainly has been a while since I have posted anything on my Xanga site!  We have had a busy last couple of months.....but busy having fun with family!

June 20th we celebrated Noah's 1st birthday!  What fun it was!  He is so cute, has 4 teech, and is now walking!  He is constantly on the go.  It was a fun birthday party with family and friends.  We so enjoy having Josh and family live less than 10 minutes away so we can see them often.  Josh and Lacey are expecting their 2nd child on January 23rd!!  We are very excited and look forward to welcoming our 4th grandchild!

Jyly 2nd we went on vacation with Jess, Damien, Jocelyn and Ethan to Mackinaw City, MI.  Our campground was on Lake Huron and had a beautiful view of Mackinaw Bridge and sunsets!  We had such a delightful time together!  Some of the things we did was go to the Upper Pennisula to Lake Superior and saw lots of beautiful waterfalls and went to Mackinaw Island and bicycled around it  Jocelyn had so much "fun"!  That was Jocelyn's big word that week.  She loved the slide, swings, playing in the sand and playing in Lake Huron.  She liked to collect rocks while playing in the lake and then throw the rock into the water to splash grandma and papa.  She loved hiking to the waterfalls too!  After the kids went to bed at night, we adults played lots of Euchre.  "Fun!"   Ethan is so good-natured and was a good traveler.  He started trying to scoot while on vacation.  Such a cutie.

August 2nd we celebrated Jocelyn's 2nd birthday.  She is at such a fun age right now.  it is delightful to see how she enjoys spending time with her Grandma, Papa, Aunt, and Uncles, and Great Grandparents.  She really enjoyed her presents and cake.  She was so neat eating her cake this year without hardly any mess.
